Ahoy, after putting off things way too long, in the last few months I've completed my ASA101 and also the SailNow program out of the CWB. Sailing is my new passion. I am looking for any opportunity to crew to continue to increase my experience as well as to meet experienced sailors from whom I can l learn, including eventually owning my own boat and maximizing its use. After getting some hours on the water, I intend to next take the ASA103 and 104.

    Cheers,
    Andrew

    Hello

I have just completed ASA 103 and I am keen to spend some time further developing my skills as a crew member. I would love to try out racing and or just go cruising.

I am available most evenings and weekends.

I look forward to hearing from you

    Hi,

I've just completed my ASA101 and am completely hooked on sailing!  Looking for opportunities to crew, learn, and gain experience.  I'll bring a positive attitude and work ethic!

    Hello!

I'm a student staying Seattle this summer, and I'd be very interested in sailing with you guys. I started in the boy scouts, where we learned the points of sail, how to capsize, etc. We also did a weeklong trip on a larger boat (I want to say 30-40 feet). It's been a few years, but I'd love to get back into it. Let me know if you need anyone to crew!

Also, I'll be 21 in a few months, in case that matters.

You can contact me at rajansaini (at) ucsb (dot) edu

    Thanks!

Hi there, I heard about this club while participating in my first race down in Tacoma last weekend with CYCT. I got my ASA 101 certification in mid-May and looking for opportunities to crew on boats to build my sailing experience (either through casual sailing or racing).

I'm in Capitol Hill, so weeknight races (other than Friday) might be difficult to swing at the moment until/when I can move to Ballard.

Best way to contact me is email: mcrane3@gmail.com

    Thanks!

In an effort to encourage people to use the crew circle forum we have made the discussions public on this forum.  You won't be able to create a new topic unless you are a club member, but this thread should allow you to reply!

If you're looking to get on a boat but aren't a member, leave us your name and a way to get ahold of you!  We will be encouraging our membership to look at the crew circle and this thread to seek out crew for their boats.

Don't forget that the best way to get on a boat is to hobnob at the Sloop Tavern after a Monday night race and get your name known!  Alternately there is a circle on X dock where you can stand as boats are headed out and hope to get picked up for the eve!
