Welcome to Introverted Sailing! The Triple Sound Series is three races that are all single-handed or double-handed.
Due to the ever changing Covid regulations, we will not be able to host the usual Down the Sound race to Gig Harbor, but we hope to return to the usual venue in 2022! In the meantime, we can still race!
This year's Down the Sound is a two day race starting and ending in Shilshole Bay each day. This is a double handed or single handed race. Double handed boats may consist of any two crew members (male or female). If the crew consists of one male and one female, this race will count as part of the Seattle Jack and Jill Series. It will be scored on cumulative time for both days. On Saturday the course goes around Blakely Rock and the Duwamish Head mark. On Sunday the course goes north around the U buoy, across the sound to Port Madison, south to the Ballard Sails buoy and back to the "meatball" = N.
Registration fee for members is $25 and for non-members and Associate Members it’s $50. This race is limited to 100 boats. There will be no waitlist.
*Announcement* We are excited to announce that there will be an after party on Saturday after the race, around 3 PM, on the plaza by the marina office. Alaskan Dumplings food truck will be there, as well as beer and other drinks. Come out and have some great food and relax in preparation for day 2 of racing!
