Moving forward, elections will be conducted entirely online. To vote for officers (and, occassionally, proposed bylaws changes) this December, voting members will need to be able to log in to the website using their established account. If you don't know your password, you can reset it here.

As required in our bylaws, club elections are held annually in December.

We are currently accepting nominations for board member candidates interested in serving in positions that begin January 2021. To appear on the December ballot, nominations must be received by Monday, November 30, 2020, and subsequently confirmed by the Board no later than Wednesday, December 2, 2020. The following positions will be on the ballot this year:

    • Commodore
    • Vice Commodore
    • Secretary
    • Treasurer
    • At-Large Board Position #1 (two-year term, 2021-2022)
    • At-Large Board Position #3 (two-year term, 2021-2022)

Club members interested in running for one of the above positions are encouraged to let a current board member know. If you don't already know a current board member, you can contact us directly at board@styc.org and we'll be happy to introduce you to (outgoing) Commodore Mike Cain and current Elections Chair (and At-Large Board Member #2) Doug Mansell for more details.

Members are invited to attend our monthly board meetings, which are currently hosted virtually. Anyone considering getting involved as an officer or club volunteer are strongly encouraged to attend the remaining board meetings this year. The next regularly-scheduled board meetings will be the evenings of Thursday, November 12, and Thursday, December 10.
