Rescheduled 2022 Blake Island Cruise

Hello Sloopers!

It is with great excitement that we are announcing the rescheduled 2022 Blake Island Cruise.

Join us at Blake Island State Park for a fun and festive potluck at 3:30pm in the S2 Shelter beside the Blake Island Marina on Saturday, February 19th, 2022.

We've had some delicious food shared at past events and we have the option to cook directly on the fire or a grill (examples:  Reubens, lamb stew, fire-grilled salmon). Please bring a dish to share (including serving utensils), and your favorite ginger beer for Dark & Stormies.  We'll provide rum and lime.

There are 6 picnic tables in the shelter, so there is plenty of room to eat and play games. There is also a small BBQ pit just outside the shelter for an outdoor fire/grilling/cooking. Bring firewood if you are so inclined.

Please also bring lanterns and we can pool our bluetooth speakers together to create a fun atmosphere.  Bring an instrument if that's your jam.

The state park marina is first-come, first-serve and rafting is allowed with 1 boat this year, so be prepared to help your neighbors configure/dock into the marina, or even anchor out and dinghy in. Be aware there may not be enough electric outlets for everyone. If you don't need it, please leave it vacant for someone that does.

We look forward to seeing you there!
