TAKE YOUR TIME FRIDAYS   Every Friday in June and July

The Notice of Race is hereby AMENDED as follows: The 2020 DATES for Take Your Time Fridays are cancelled due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

TYTF is the most casual of casual races every Friday evening in June and July. There is no committee boat. You are on the honor system for the start, and there is only one start at 19:00, between the usual start pin and the white-painted rock on the breakwater. The course is always the same no matter where the wind is coming from: start, Meadow Point, Ballard Sails Buoy, finish. There are two rules: boats of a greater sailing ability are required to go out of their way to avoid boats of a lesser sailing ability, and there is no protesting or yelling. This is a great way to get started racing, or just get on the water for fun with other boats. This race is free for everyone.
