STYC is hosting two series of Casual Racing in an effort to provide a more relaxed racing opportunity for cruisers, racers, live-a-boards and dinghies. Skippers will take their own finish time, and submit it to the website for scoring.
There will be one start at 19:00, and the course will be NMBN (Start, Meadow Point, Ballard Sails Buoy, Finish).
This was a new race for Sloop Tavern Yacht Club in 2020.
Women at the Helm Regatta is a race intended to create opportunities for women to drive. The rest of the crew can be any mix of women and men, but skipper needs to identify as female. This race is modeled after our Fall Regatta in terms of format, using fixed marks for up to three short distance races in one day. Join us at the Sloop Tavern afterwards for awards and socializing. Update: The race is on, but there will not be an after-party this year.
Join us for a six pack of Monday night races off Shilshole Marina, using fixed marks for a short course. The cutoff for this series is 9:00 pm.
