What's different with the new website?
Aside from a new look, the new website includes administrative improvements to membership management, email communications, privacy controls, payment processing, and event registration. By moving to a commercial web content management system, more volunteers can easily update the website -- without needing to know HTML & CSS.
A few key differences for members is that email is integrated into the system, and we added some photos! The crew circle is also different: before you had to email us to get your information posted, but now it's a public forum.
What is the same with the new website?
Most of the existing website content was transferred, including member information, club history, and our volunteer information. The existing race scoring system was also tied into the new website, so the race management and scoring process will look familiar to our experienced race committee volunteers.
Does my old site password work on the new site?
No. Old passwords were not ported over to the new site. Members can click here to request a new password. Once logged in, members can also manage their own password by updating their account profile.
What is bundle membership?
This question applies only to STYC dual members, which are co-habitating co-owners of a boat. If both partners in a dual membership want independent access to our website and email notifications, we've placed them in a "bundle membership" (the website's software's term for dual memberships). The "bundle administrator" is the person associated with membership billing, and the "bundle member" has equal ability to receive emails, sign in and register for events, and so on. If you want to sign up for dual membership, see Join for more information.
How do I give feedback about the website?
